WELCOME TO BELLA AMICA
Positive Dog Training
WHO OR WHAT IS BELLA AMICA?
Bella Amica is 'Beautiful Friend' in Italian. And that's just how Andy feels about his dog Bella.
Bella is a rescue. She was found as a stray in Ireland and thanks to the work of Dogs Trust, found her way to Andy. Together, they've been working to get Bella back on track. She had anxiety, reactivity to humans and other dogs, no formal toilet training and no tail!
Whilst the tail may not get fixed, everything else can be.
Using positive reinforcement (posh words for asking the dog to do something and them getting rewarded for it with good things like treats or play), Andy and his family have managed to get Bella in to a calm and chilled out place.
Now, using everything he's learned with Bella and backed up by training with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, you and your Beautiful Friend can benefit in exactly the same way!

OUR KIND HOSTS
The Horseshoes Riding School was opened in 1981 by Anthony and Rosalind Hargreaves with their young sons Stephen and Nigel. They started off with 1 horse called Araby and a pony called Butternut! The School today is still under the same management and is a thriving business with 7 instructors and 48 horses and ponies and is as family friendly now as it ever was.
They kindly play host to our Private 1-to-1 sessions and our group classes. Click below to find out more!
